ThrOwBAckS!

Every now and then, you get a little nostalgic and pull out an outfit that you wore out when you first got it, didn't take it off for *insert amt of time here* lol. Mine was usually 3 days? And then back on 2 days later lol. I had a little thought that it would be fun to do that as a part of my blog. I don't know yet if it's going to be a weekly thing, but I hope it will be. I have lots of things I can pull out of the 'ole inventory and ramble about, so get ready lol.

This week, I was walking around MYTH because I stalk Aeris professionally and I started to realize how much of her designs aren't out anymore. Some of it isn't even very old, and I got a slight pout in my lips because I think she's basically awesome and everyone should have her clothing. I walked around in a dress that's been gone for quite some time, but then I realllly looked for something that I thought was so cute and it's totally gone. This is where my picture came from. Also, on the same sim I came across a jewelry store called A La Mood and the jewelry there is really beautiful so I chose a color that would match what I got there so I could simultaneously show my new find with my 'vintage' gem lol.

In the picture is the Lucid Jacket in Purple & Trepid Jeans from MYTH. I loved the jackets when she showed me shortly before the release and I can't believe they're gone already. Could my avi shed a tear, she surely would! I added the Purple Stacks Bangle from A La Mood, Truth Hair & J's Shoes in Black. My skin lately has been Fhang Candy, they are great and make me simply gah-geous! Hopefully these little installments will be lots of fun, I look forward to the next one!

Designing Nicky Ree

There comes a time in your SLife where you take a good, hard look at your avatar and say to yourself, "SELF! What were you thinking when you bought that?!" I myself had an epiphany of sorts, and deleted a good 25% of my inventory that was not transferrable. Upon doing so, I took a little stroll down memory lane and realized how much i've changed on SL. From a newb that couldn't stop walking into walls and was stuck in a tree for 2 weeks, to a blogger/model/store assistant/whatever else I want to be! When you think about those things that you now look at in horror, there's those pieces that seem completely timeless...things that you will wear probably for your whole SL. I feel that the designs that come out of Nicky Ree are those designs.

Now, of course no one just coming inworld knows all the good designers. But I hope that some of them find my blog and come to know all the wonderful things out in SL. I know for myself, it was very nervewracking to get the guts to start this blog because it entails speaking with designers, and saying what you want to well enough that people want to get out there and look at their stores & creations. When blogging someone so well known, well let me just say the knot in my stomach was almost unbearable. As usual, all the worry is for nothing because most of the designers i've spoken to are just the sweetest people out there! Nicky Ree is absolutely no exception, and had a small conversation with me as if we were old friends. She may have forgotten about me soon after but hey, it's all good hehe. The woman is very talented, hand painting and drawing her designs which are all just...works of art!


There is something so feminine about slipping on a gorgeous dress, a stellar pair of heels and putting on your good updo [lol] to hit the town with your favorite guy or a bunch of your best girls. When that dress you put on is a Nicky Ree design, there is no limit to the elegance you can achieve. If you haven't already, I advise you to arm your inventory with a gown or two today!

Is it just me? Or do those random tp's where you get an explanation after you get there a bit...what is the word...help me out here...ANNOYING! Oh muh goodness if you want me to go somewhere just tell me k? OK! lol. So, as you may have guessed that little story is the preface for my latest find. I was minding my own business, writing a notecard and mentally re-evaluating my inventory and low & behold I was in a very crowded shop. Apparently, someone who shall remain nameless tp'd me because someone on her list was harassing her about getting a midnight madness board filled. I was slightly aggrivated about it because I had not even realized I was there and then the people there were literally yelling at everyone in the shop to make sure they had hit the board. There was an abundance of 'SLAP IT!' and 'DID EVERYONE IN HERE HIT THE BOARD? WE GOTTA REACH 450!' Yeah...

Anyway, I did it because I didn't want to get mauled in my new outfit and then I took a quick cam around the store. The skin is seeming really very pretty, so I go in for a closer look. I grabbed a few demo's and ran back to my unofficial room at Aeris & Mit's lol. I loooved the skin on me, and I was inspired to ask the owner if I could blog his store. He was so receptive, gave me the warmest yes I ever done got lol. I am always quite iffy with skin stores, I know they don't like to give up their jems. A one Mr. Dragos Janus welcomed the opportunity and sent some review copies of his latest releases and here I am! This is the quickest i've ever got a blog together because well...I tend to ramble and proofread like a crazy person. I do hope to get a few blogs a week out but that doesn't happen much lol. I digress, this blog is about skin hello. The details on this skin are so awesome, the eyeshadow actually looked like it was twinkling lol. It might have been a bit of sleep deprivation as well but i'm telling you it was shining at me. The color of the skin is so what I go for, a nice golden tan not like a jersey-shore-i-look-like-i-bathe-in-spray-tan orange. Upon camming in close, I saw this shadowing on the face that made my cheekbones look absolutely to die for. Its the first skin that I noticed actually complimented the way I made the shape of my face. Plus, how cute do my lips look with that skin. All the little body details are fab as well and overall its just a really great place to get some awesome skin. The amount of makeup colors is staggering I swear. The size of the folder is shocking hehe. I would advise you all to do what I did, go grab some demo's - try them on and bask in your hotness! I will surely be traipsing around SL looking for the next thing to chat chit about in my new eStyle skin!


Thought i'd add that the price of the fat pack is insanely reasonable considering i've paid that price for 2-3 skins LOL go see 4 urself...that's my lil p.s. for today! See you all again next time! ~*~SL Smooches!~*~

Grrrr who asked him anyway...I swear! I'm back *eek* lol! Although i've been on sporadically in the past few months, I haven't really been 'back' to do all the things I SL luv. So after getting my bearings again, remembering my pw and rejoicing at the fact that I remembered how to walk and get dressed *woot*, I started to think about my blog that I luv'd writing so much and decided it was high time I wrote again. Also, because I had organized the h-e-double hockey sticks outta my inventory before I stopped coming on, I found all my favorite little outfits & accessories as well as landmarks of all the wonderful places I found. Ah, the little things that can make one so very pleased. BTW, thank you so much for all of the congrats on the baby he is my favorite little monkey, and if I may say so myself quite a little handsome guy hehe. Being that it's my first blog after being away from all the newest latest fun stuff, I thought i'd go to 3 of my favorite spots and see what the new releases they were working on looked like. I have alot of stores that I shop at, but these are some regular stops for me at least on a weekly basis. Once I am back in full SL order, you can expect alot more blogs to make up for all the time that I lost! These stores i'm about to talk to ya about...you may know them, you may not. If you don't love them yet, you better after this!

My first stop on the train of newness and fabulosity was MYTH. Aeris Pinazzo is my secret lovah and an incredibly talented designer...so she's always first on my list of stops lol. If you haven't stopped by MYTH yet, you really need to people. Seriously...don't make me hurt you. I have spoken. I will be heard! Now, back to the new releases lol, they are quite cute if I may say so myself. Apparently, while I was off bein preggers Aeris decided to show a bit of her naughty side. I was shocked and appalled at the cleavage and the mini of the skirts and the...yeah ok, I got all of it so sue me. What can I say? Who doesn't like to let the cleav be the star of the show on occasion!? Stop in to take a look at those releases, they are smexy deliciousness I promise ya. The new NEW releases [ really new & not just stuff I missed while I was busy in RL] are a super short mini-skirt with an awesome high waisted corset detail. The skirt comes in 5 colors and can be paired with the other release, which is a totally cute mini-pocket tee that comes in 7 solid colors and 4 camo prints. The skirt compliments my toosh ever so wonderfully. So hurry along and go check it all out! Get them! I did

It's interesting that I have blogged them before, but I swear they keep doing things specifically to make me go back to their sim...after all, it's all about me right? That Steffi Villota is not just a great designer, I think she is skilled in the art of seduction LOL...I'll ask Dark about that later bwahahaaa! So last time we met, DeeTaleZ had re-opened and had a sweeeet new sim. These people are highly indecisive because their sim is changed AGAIN! It's all dark and curvy trees, very oooh and ahh lots of mystery lol. I think Steffi may never sleep IRL because there is sooo much new stuff that it really baffles the mind. I may need to stage an intervention for her lil workaholic toosh. But you know, if you're taking suggestions Steffi...more shoes! Anjelyc loves her shoes!! DeeTaleZ is going ultra sexy show it if you got it, like WOW these new releases are filthy-naughty-fantasticness I tell ya. Just when you thought there was every accessory out there in the SLW, DeeTaleZ brings you animated! body and face glitter. LOL I thought I read it wrong but no! It is true, people the creativity of the world will never cease to amaze. I love it, i'm getting some for myself so I can sparkle while I shop for the new hotness. Last but not least on my little journey through fashion land is {paper.doll} by Zoey Gabardini. I came across this shop oooh golly-gee-willikers like a year and a half ago? I was looking for something else and walked out of there with 2 shirts and a freebie tee that had me crackin up for at least 20 minutes. I wore that tee for days. I have wanted to blog {paper.doll} since forever, but at the time Zoey was working on her sim and then it was done and my computer died on me then I dared to be with child, and soon after that lil man had the nerve to want to be born! But finally, that day is upon us and I am so thankful that I have this chance. I have no idea if this store is uber-popular but it should be just like all the stores I love because I have crazyinsaneawesome taste. The clothing in {paper.doll} is fun, flirty and feisty. I think we can all agree that sums me up in so many words (ok ok it wasn't that funny). Zoey has a great eye for detail as well, and really comes up with some young and fresh ideas to make awesome designs for her customers. I have more than a few items from {paper.doll} and I luv em so much there is a designated folder for her clothes as there are for my other faves. A few of her dresses have been so mini that Gio gives me the evil eye, but hey it's not like i'm walkin around town with the baby in tow in a micro mini right? So its all good hehe. The releases that particularly caught my eye that says 'ooh i'd look so cute in that!' are a cute Terry Cloth Jumper that can be worn with or without a white tube-top-ish thing. Can I just tell you...the look without the white top? SCAND-a-LOUS!! Omg boobies everywhere lol. The colors are awesome and the look is ridiculously adorable so I must have them. Also, Zoey created these very 'in' Inked Dresses that need to be an addition to my folder as well. Various colors and designs all very stylish so therefore very ME! Last but not least, the Definition Minis that come in 4 styles let everyone out there know who you are when they read it across your body. There is Bitch in red, Independent in black, Cute in blue & Sexy in pink. Who out there doesn't think they're a combo of all 4? LOL get your booties on down to these amazing stores and hook your inventory up to diva status! Right Now!! I SAID GO!!!
