Okay! I've even got as close as I can to sepia font to make up for the fact that I totally caught a space out on Sepia! *LOL* I searched my inventory, tp'd to all kinds of stores and even looked through marketplace a bit. I gotta say I found a fantastic pair of eyes on there, sepia tone with a heart in the center. Too cute lol, but I digress because I didn't get them! I remembered way back when I was a avi out on my own, looking for a really awesome skin to own I found Rockberry. I still have and wear on occasion several of my Rockberry skins and this one I've never had the chance to properly show off until now!
This is the Rockberry Character Skin. It is created in the sepia tone, to have that old school photograph feeling and I thought it was a really awesome idea. Truth be told, I never had the instance to use it and I'm so glad I remembered I had it! The backround stuff, I edited to match the skin because it looked really funky with the actual colors. The yellow for next week might be insanely easier to handle LOL...I think I have a gray hair now.

Giovanni: What is that?
Anjelyc: It's a costume for halloween!
Giovanni: Um, what are you supposed to be?
Anjelyc: Duh babe, an Angel
Giovanni: are angel's skirts that short?
Anjelyc: ummmmmm.....
Hey...who says costumes can't be smexy!? It is no secret to those that know me that I LOVE Halloween! I have accumulated a bunch of costumes in SL thus far, and I have ideas for about 2 or 3 more. It's insane, I know it and you know it but there it is I can't help it! This particular beauty is from [paper.doll] and I <3 that store sooo much Zoey makes clothes that are just downright fun! Colorful and sexy works so well when i'm in my sassy moods. She's got more costumes, and I'm hoping that I can get pictures in as many as possible so that you all can check em out. There's a lady cop one thats all shorty shorts and cleavage mega hawt, and a pretty goddess one with laces for your legs. Ummm a victim one with a blood soaked dress and a knife sticking out of your abdomen which is awesome, I so want that one. There's also a ladybug, an Alice in Wonderland-ish one, and a few more. Want to know what they are? Take your toosh down there and check it out! Zoey is also working on some great new designs that I shamefully nagged her about *LOL*. I can't wait to see the end result though! Yippeeeeee
The next lil photo is a fun little thing I put together from Shocktoberfest and an amazing freebie from Glitterati Poses. The outfit is a costume from ((TASTY)) and is one of the free items you can grab while going through the haunted house type situation at the Carnival of Carnage. It's pretty neat, I was playing 'Name that Movie' while I walked through and grabbed prizes. The coffin, candle and skull are all props that come with the Glitterati pose which was totally free and Katey really rocks!
Okay, how scary is this picture? LOL I tinkered with my MultiTool HUD and put on angry face and had at it! I also used the coffin again, although it isn't very evident in the picture itself. I wanted an up close picture of the Killer Candy Corn *rawr* for all to see. These lil guys are made by {Just a Pose} and there is a num num, a shoulder pet and a hair candy. Being the over-doer that I am, I put all three on for the pic. I like it tho, it says i'm crazy and i'm not afraid to over accessorize! The hair is from 3636 and the outfit, which isn't very well shown here is a fall jumper from M Motion for a mere 5L$.
And finally, my last but not least outfit yay! This trendy lil dress is from .magoa. and it comes in 3 colors for Shocktoberfest. I put my Magika hair on because I have been looking for an awesome time to wear my 'Blind' hair hehe. So being that it's halloween time and I needed to add some creepy to the cute, I wore my CStar Skin. It was a subscriber freebie, and since I am a member of almost every subscribe-o-matic in SL yep, I got it! Of course, this picture also has 'The Coffin' by Glitterati. All in all I think it was a successful shopping-slash-hunt day! I hope you all check out paper.doll and the wonderful costumes. Don't forget to swing by Shocktoberfest: Carnival of Carnage! It's on until November 1st and really can freak out your eyes if you let it!

[conversation IRL, sitting next to each other @ the computer]
Giovanni: Hey babe, what are you doing?
Anjelyc: I am...looking through my inventory for things I want to get rid of
Giovanni: Why?
Anjelyc: Well, I like it to be organized...u know that! I did urs remember?Giovanni: yeah...now I can't find anything
Anjelyc: Whatever, its awesome as I am and u know it [clicks a folder & wears]
Giovanni: Where did you get that and how come i've never seen it before!
Anjelyc: I dunno I have a bunch of stuff you haven't seen...since when do I wear fishnet halters?
Giovanni: Well you should start...
In all honesty, it was a really well made fishnet halter & matching boyshort thing but it showed alll the goodies so I had to take that off [yeah, I kept it tho]. For the sake of honesty, I'll say i'm not sure how I even got that because as far as I can remember I had never gone to Indyra Originals before last week. Now, I could be wrong but I don't recall really. I'm sure that makes me seem like a total SLoser lol, but hey what can I say. I wasn't up with the cool kids til recently, and I've only got a visitors pass right now! That lingere was so well made that I wanted to see more, so I hopped on the handy landmark and ended right in front of the store. I walked around and realized there was some sort of sale going on, so I got a tad bit excited. Hey, Puerto Ricans and sales what can I say...i'm a product of my upbringing. I walked all around the store and then there was this floating woman above my head with her cute little skirt billowing as she bobbed in the air. I wondered if she worked there, or had maybe just landed and wasn't aware that she was in the air. Then I realized it was the owner, and she was arranging items in her store so I moved it along feeling quite foolish. It's ok, you can laugh. I did...ok stop, that's enough. There was so much I wanted to buy, I was dizzy from looking at all the fun clothes to wear! And she makes shoes to match her clothes, that is so nifty. I find myself at a loss on occasion with matching shoes to my new outfits and Indyra just went and cut out the middle man - awesomeness. Well, as we know I can't say no to a good sale or a cute outfit so yep I bought something and then I found something else and here we all are sharing a blog moment. It might have been during a hunt..or a subscriber gift or...I don't know, something. But I do remember getting this pink jacket and being thoroughly confused as to why there was only 2 prims in the folder. One of those little boxes was the WHOLE JACKET! There was two versions, and ADM that must take forever, who knows I can't make clothing but its so cute and so I threw that on also, for pictures sake.
There are some really fabulous designs at Indyra Originals and I advise anyone that's never been to go, ASAP. Anyone that has, hey go again! Who knows what you might find there that is completely to die for!

The American Brain Tumor Association exists in order to help eliminate tumors through research. They also try to assist with the needs of brain tumor patients and their families. The ABTA provides critical funding to researchers working to break through the barriers of tumor diagnosis, to help find treatments and care while ultimately finding a cure. It is the recognized resource for information for those living with brain tumors, their families and those that wish to be informed. Wear Gray for a Day was created last year by Sanura Snowpaw. It is a valiant effort to bring into light the desperate need for brain tumor research.

Sometimes...not frequently, but it happens on occasion! someone on SL will do or say something that truly touches my heart. there are so many things out there that you can do in Second Life. Build, design, resell, smex, shop, walk around randomly insulting people...you know, whatever works for them. So rarely does one step aside from whats all about them and do something for others. When the bottom line is simply...to help a bit. I initially encountered 'Wear Gray for A Day' last year but I couldn't stay online to see what it was really all about. Basically, my computer was horrid and I had to log out because the lagmonster had got me. Shortly after I came back, I looked into it because I never threw away my note card. Pretty awesome to find out that they're getting ready for another year and its even bigger than before!
I know alot of people try to separate SL/RL from one another but at the end of the day the truth is that you ARE human. You are on a computer, but the actions you choose in Second Life don't come from the computer. They come from you. Be ashamed, be proud but don't pretend to be someone other than yourself. When you are, beautiful things such as this can be the result. I applaud Sanura wholeheartedly for her awesomeness to bring this project about and carry it out. I'll be wearing gray and I hope you will too!
